The Game, Chris Brown, Diddy Record Michael Jackson Tribute Song

Posted Fri 3 Jul 2009 8:01AM NZST by Billy Johnson, Jr. in Hip-Hop Media Training

The Game, Chris Brown, Diddy, Boyz II Men, and Polow Da Don teamed up to record a tribute to Michael Jackson, "Better On The Other Side."

The Game provides the bulk of the lyrics, sharing personal experiences as a kid who grew listening to Michael's music. Chris Brown and Wayna Morris from Boyz II Men also offer lead vocals.

They recorded this song immediately and released it Friday, June 26, the day following Michael's passing to cardiac arrest. It's a good track. You can feel the sincerity in each of the artists' vocals.

Reminds me of when country singers try to cash in with their songs about wars. Wonder how much these toolboxes will make off this

Are you all serious with the negativity ! ! ! ! I don't condone violence against anyone let alone another woman but come off of it already Chris Brown is not the first celebrity and he won't be the last to hit a woman but he admitted and owned his mistake. MJ made mistakes too but right now it's not about that this was "the greatest entertainer to grace this earth" and he is gone we all should be humbled at that very fact. This was a great song and the fact that it was put together so quickly truly shows the admiration these artist felt for him. All i can say is gone far too soon. God Bless his children! chris brown keep doing what u do some people still have your back........

INCARCERATING PEOPLE "FOR PROFIT" IS IN A WORD....WRONG!
Even if one does not ask or pretends not to see the rope and the flashing red flag draped around the philosophical question standing solemnly at attention in the middle of the room, it remains apparent that the mere presence of a private “for profit” driven prison business in our country undermines the U.S Constitution and subsequently the credibility of the American criminal justice system. In fact, until all private prisons in America have been abolished and outlawed, “the promise” of fairness and justice at every level of this country’s judicial system will remain unattainable. We must restore the principles and the vacant promise of our judicial system. Our government cannot continue to "job-out" its obligation and neglect its duty to the individuals confined in the correctional and rehabilitation facilities throughout this nation, nor can it ignore the will of the people that it was designed to serve and protect. There is urgent need for the good people of this country to emerge from the shadows of indifference, apathy, cynicism, fear, and those other dark places that we migrate to when we are overwhelmed by frustration and the loss of hope.
My hope is that you will support the National Public Service Council to Abolish Private Prisons (NPSCTAPP) with a show of solidarity by signing "The Single Voice Petition"
