If it's Monday, this must be Framed! Welcome back, regular readers, and a special welcome to our newest readers! This is a good time to tell friends and family that Framed is today's "must-read" blog! Why?

It's all true. We've worked hard to establish our reputation as America's Friendliest Blog. But we couldn't have done it without your help, so to our many readers, we offer our thanks!

This week we're simply throwing in the towel by welcoming Michael Jackson back, making him our most-featured star ever. This is probably apt in that Michael did more than anyone in establishing music video as an art form, and also in that he just died. In honor of his storied career, we're presenting "Beat It," the great video off Thriller. Everyone knows the story by now: Eddie Van Halen's scathing lead guitar, Weird Al's parody, the whole thing. But you're sure to enjoy looking back at one of the greatest videos of the 1980s!

As a bonus, we've "framed" a dozen still pictures from the video and written lightly impertinent captions to them! Just for fun! If you enjoy them, please let us know.
